Psychic or tarot reader: they are not the same claim
The two words get used interchangeably in advertising, and they describe two different claims. Knowing which one you are being offered is the most useful thing you can know before paying.

Two different promises
A psychic reading, as usually advertised, claims direct access to information you do not have: what someone is thinking, what will happen, when.
A tarot reading is an interpretation. Cards are drawn, and what they mean is worked out in conversation with the person sitting there. It is a method, not a faculty.
Why the distinction is practical
It tells you what to do when something does not fit. With an interpretation, you say so and the reading adjusts. With a claim of direct knowledge, disagreeing makes you the problem.
That single difference is why interpretation is the safer thing to buy.
What is offered here
An interpretation, explicitly. Maryana names each card, says where it fell and explains what it suggests about your situation, and you can push back at any point.
No dates, no readings of absent people's minds, no guaranteed outcomes.
Warning signs in either case
A fee that grows after the session starts. An urgent problem that only the reader can fix. A price per question. Pressure not to tell anyone.
None of those are about psychic versus tarot. They are about whether you are dealing with someone honest.

A little more clarity.
Is a tarot reader a psychic?
Not necessarily, and here the claim is explicitly interpretive rather than psychic.
Can a reading predict the future?
No. It can describe what is in motion and what you are sustaining. A date is not something a spread can honestly produce.
What if I disagree with a card?
Say so during the call. Either context was missing or the word means something different to you; both get resolved by talking.
